Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) Indian Oil, is an Indian government corporation. It is under the ownership of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India headquartered in New Delhi.
Problem – The main product that the customer deals is Oil and as we all know the merits of oil products it has the same amount of demerits. If by any chance any of the product comes in contact with flame there is a high chance of explosion. The customer has invested a lot to avoid a fire breakout. There are firefighters who are always stationed near the Danger zones. During a fire breakout since the firefighters have to be near such a dangerous fire breakout the life of firefighters are at risk. The customer needed a solution for the same to reduce human involvement in the fire extinguishing.
Solution – We provided the customer with an innovative fire extinguishing mechanism. A PLC based fire extinguisher. The PLC is used to control the vertical as well as the Horizontal motion of a crane, at the tip of the crane the fire extinguishing mechanism, camera and other devices will be fixed. The device can be controlled from a remote location with the help of cloud. Using this technology the customer was successfully able to reduce the human involvement in fire extinguishing.
HPCL
Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) is a subsidiary of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation which is under the ownership of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas of the Government of India with its headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra is one of the leading petroleum provider in India.
Problem – The customer had lot of Oil tanks in their company .The requirement was to monitor the level and temperature inside these tanks from remote locations.
Solution – We provided the customer with an IIoT controller and cloud to continuously monitor the data .The controller collects the Level and temperature data from the field and is displayed in web page, the customer can log into the corvina cloud from any part of the world to monitor the parameters.
